TRAINING

"Player Tips"

Training In the Old West, life was difficult for most. Those who settled we’re looking for a new life as pioneer frontiersmen and woman. The weather was unforgiving and the work was hard no matter what occupation you chose to make your way. When a person staked out a claim on a tract of land to raise a family…and or to raise horses or cattle, there was always the possibility of someone wanting to take away what you’re working for. Or if you were in town, had a business, or worked for someone who did, there was always someone lurking. Even the town blacksmith was armed. Nearly everyone was. Ladies if they didn’t strap on a gun belt often had a Derringer concealed on their person or in their purse. Yes, everyone in the old west lived with or under the Spectre of the gun. As such, one had to defend themselves. Had to develop a sense of awareness, a Keen eye, and to carry themselves in such a way as not to be bothered by whomever they run into on the trail or in life in the old towns of the west. Accordingly, here in this game, you have to train to be able to defend yourself. To train stats, you should do so on a browser which you are able to set up tabs and cycle through them using keyboard shortcuts to do so. Configure your short cuts to reload and cycle either left or right. Opera is the perfect Browser for this type of training. — Download Opera Browser, go to the Menu, then to the Settings, then to the Browser, then you find Configure Shortcuts, press that, then you will find reload in there you choose the key you will use to reload with the 2 key- most people choose the 5 key so assuming you are choosing the 5 you put it in the box and click ok, you are set to go with your tabs. –Pick a stat to train, Set your tabs similarly to this. Tab 1 (courage), tab 2 (stat to train), tab 3 (courage), tab 4 (stat to train), and so on…Make sure your (courage) is 100% when loading stats in. Also click the renew (energy) stat box in the training table. In this way you get maximum stats every time you click. –Training is done on a tick, a 5 minute increment of time. Those are between the 0 and 5 ticks, or the 5 and 0 ticks. The zero ticks are the top of the hour, or 0, 10 after, 20 after, 30, 40, and 50. The five ticks are 5 after, 15, 25, 35, 45, and 55. An example of a tick to train would be between 15 and 20 minutes after the hour….a 5 minute increment. –To tick train, once that increment of time has started, one loads in a (silver dollar) to begin. It’s best if this is in a separate window from the window your tabs are set up in. Then switch windows on your screen and cycle through the tabs using your hot keys on your configured keyboard. A note. A (silver dollar) is only good during one 5 minute increment of tick time. It’s a maximum and doesn’t overlap ticks.

THE BATH HOUSE

PMWcabs.jpg

Public baths originated from a communal need for cleanliness at a time when most people did not have access to private bathing facilities. The term public is not completely accurate, as some types of public baths are restricted depending on membership, gender, religious affiliation, or other reasons. As societies have changed, the need for public baths has reduced as private bathing facilities became more commonly available.

THE BEDHOUSE

The Bed House
Prostitution in the Old West was just as exploitative, degrading and traumatic as it is today—with the added bonus that local newspapers would name, shame and hound you. That’s not an exaggeration. The brothels acted as poverty traps, forcing the girls into never ending competition with one another for enough scraps to eat, with no hope of escape. Put simply, it was a profession for people with no other options—and about as glamorous as a week in a ditch.

THE SALOON

Well, there just ain’t no talkin’ about the Old West, without mentioning the dozens, no hundreds – er, thousands of saloons of the American West. The very term “saloon” itself, conjures up a picture within our minds of an Old West icon, complete with a wooden false front, a wide boardwalk flanking the dusty street, a couple of hitchin’ posts, and the always present swinging doors brushing against the cowboy as he made his way to the long polished bar in search of a whiskey to wet his parched throat.
